Cayden-boy's Overseas Deepavali celebration!

It was Cayden-boy's first overseas trip on the 5th Nov 2010.
Mama was so excited about she ensures that we are on schedule. It turned out that we are the very first few people to arrive at the rendezvous.

A total of 5 cars with 15 people gathered illegally, distributed walkie-talkie and by the time everyone was happy to move out.. it was near 8am.
Checked onemotoring and realized that there was a very long queue right outside woodlands checkpoint and that Tuas checkpoint is empty!

All of us hence headed towards Tuas. True enough, we went through the Singapore checkpoint in a breeze and were pretty pleased with ourselves. Little did we know that that was actually a beginning of our terror...

Cayden-boy must we wondering what the adults are doing.. He had fallen asleep.. woke up.. fell asleep.. woke up again and discover that he is actually not really far away from his first sleep... it took us 3 long hours to cross the Malaysia check point!

We were all forced to cancel our Malaysia breakfast and headed for lunch instead... Azman recommended us a malay restaurant. To be frank, it was my first lunch in a Malay restaurant in Malaysia... Normally, I would follow my dad and only dine in a chinese restaurant...

Group shot for the adventurous group!
After our sumptuous meal, time is not on our side.. The tight itinerary will not allow us to visit the fruit farm in Desaru already. Mama and I were quite disappointed as we were looking forward to give Cayden-boy some lessons on "fruits on trees"..

Since mama ever asked them about Austin Hill Resort, they decided to lead us to the resort to fill in the time gap.

Cheap looking sign board.. but it works perfectly!
Ok..Mama.. pose here.. so that we can remember this special day..
Mama reading the small captions.. Who knows, our next vacation might be spent at Austin Hills!
One final pose before we leave this beautiful place
The next destination was Jusco, Malaysia's shopping mall. The route was difficult to me.. even till now, I am still lost! Haha..

Cayden-boy is searching for something..
Ok..he's searching a gift for Mama.. No attempts were made for papa..
Brought Cayden-boy to Harris bookstore followed by toys-r-us. Unfortunately, we did not manage to find any suitable books nor toys for Cayden-boy. By then, Mama and I were shacked out already.. we headed towards our meeting point way before the stipulated timing, mama bought a cheese cake, ice mocha and rasbery with black current juice to pamper ourselves.

The last stop for the day was to celebrate Deepavali at a friend's bungalow in Malaysia! The celebration of course comes with fireworks!
Mama hug Cayden-boy tightly as the guys fired the fireworks away, while I quickly test some shots with Scott Kelby's tips..

Hand canon fireworks
Everyone enjoying the fireworks
As I stayed to near the fireworks, my leg was hit by a small rock..
Finale was a colored fireworks display
A pity that the Nikon D7000 has not reached Singapore's shores yet.. I believe that the shots will definably be a notch higher than these.. Haha..
This is Cayden-boy's first oversea Deepavali celebration with fireworks!
