Kidz Amaze @ SAFRA

Cayden-boy was invited to the Kidz Amaze children playground in SAFRA. It was a good time for mama to meet up with her friend and at the same time was an opportunity for Cayden-boy to mix with other kids.

Cayden-boy beams with excitement when placed on top of the slide

Patrina's is so quiet, inert, shy and independent

Guess the "duck" made her day?
Cayden-boy and mama were ready for the 3-storey high slide!

Cayden-boy striking a pose when he reached the top of the maze
Cayden-boy learnt to pick up and keep the balls though games!
Cayden-boy putting the balls in the "machines"
We decided to leave the playground and get some reading materials for Cayden-boy before going to grandma's. As it was getting late, we doubled our pace and proceeded directly to the 5th floor, where the library was.

Cayden-boy stopped us at the 4th floor and struggled to break free. He pointed his little finger at.....
Pretending to hold a microphone and he started singing~
Cayden-boy getting ready to pretend to hit the targets
Cayden-boy refused to let go of the hammer and instead waited patiently for the little "lambs" to pop up
It was a tiring day indeed for the adults. However, it was also a rewarding day for us when we notice Cayden-boy enjoying himself in the games, laughing out loud and learning new "skills". Who knows, our Cayden-boy might be the next Superstar!

You can have your play and drink milk too!

One fine morning, Mama decided to educate Cayden-boi on the lesson that "nothing's free in this world". So....

One gotta work hard for milk, you know?
At first there was some proper work done.

Man very serious at work

But all work and no play makes Jack Cayden a dull boi.

Doing "servicing" for Bobby car; magic mop - abandoned

Phone jack looked more interesting; Bobby car - forsaken. Magic mop - huh, what mop?
After a good 10 minutes of workout, one should always keep track of the amount of work done versus the amount of kilos shed...

How did I fare this morning?

And finally...

Yeah! It's party time~
Learning point for Cayden-boi: You can have your work + play and drink your milk too!

Learning point for Mama: Yup, nothing's free in this world. :x

A trip to Malaysia

Ring.... Ring.... Ring.......
6.30am already...? Gave a peep at my iphone even knowing exactly that that was what I had set before I sleep...
Okay, it's time to wake up. We are going to Malaysia today!

Our purpose for the trip is to visit a temple in KuLai and at the same time pay some visits to our relatives in Malaysia.

The temple that my dad had been visiting since he was a kid

Fascinating way of hanging the incense
Donations more than a certain amount is recorded on the wall
Mama managed to trick Cayden-boy into putting on the hat
We had to keep repeating,"handsome~~" so that Cayden-boy will continue wearing the hat..
Cayden-boy wont be tricked for long...
We were invited to our relative's new house
Cayden-boy playing some instruments on an old rattan chair
Cayden-boy dozes off in the car
We went to grandma's place once we reached Singapore. Since cayden-boy seems tired, it is a perfect chance to grab some rest. Our predictions were never accurate..

Cayden-boy had grabbed enough rest when we suffered a little traffice jam along the causeway! Cayden-boy wanted to be left on the floor when we arrived and he headed straight to the telephone..

Cayden-boy tried to dial a number
Cayden-boy waited patiently for a response..
"Hello? hello....?", pacing up and down, stretching the poor telephone cord
Cayden-boy seemed to be discussing a million dollar contract...
Okay.. he must have screwed up the deal..
Mama and I were dead beat when we finally reached home. I believed that Cayden-boy wasn't aware that he was oversea. Nonetheless, I hoped that he had enjoyed himself to the fullest!

Chua Chu Kang park

It was a lazy weekend. It seems that the Z monster paid us a visit and all of us slept practically till noon time! We thought of getting some Christmas gifts and then visit a nearby park after that.

Cayden-boy rushed toward the playground the moment we put him down..
Cayden-boy wants to try the elephant ride
"Cayden-boy.. where are you?!", pretending to have lost sight of him..
Bubbles for Cayden-boy!
Cayden-boy insists on blowing instead of chasing the bubbles..

Cayden-boy managed to get some bubbles after all!
Contented with his few bubbles...
Try it yourself, Cayden-boy~

Wee~~~~

Cayden-boy loves the slide!

Hold tight, Cayden-boy.. this is a steep one..
Cayden-boy enjoys the "Swinging dish"
小叔 gets a new toy for Cayden-boy from Taiwan!
Grandma explaining how the remote control works to Cayden-boy
Cayden-boy trying his hands on the remote control
From today's activity, I learnt that Cayden-boy is about to understand how to blow, which marks another milestone of Cayden-boy's developement. By observing how cayden-boy controls the remote control car, I deduced that Cayden-boy is a right hander as he can only control the car with his right thumb at the moment... haha!

Lower Seletar Park

I wanted to plan for some water activities for Cayden-boy.. Did some research and finally locked my target at the Lower Seletar park. Though not a fantastic location for Cayden-boy (the activities available), I guess the water playground should be enough to tire him out!

Cayden-boy loves the stepping sound of the wooden bridge and keeps stomping his feet!
the life buoy's bright colors attracts Cayden-boy attention
A quick pose before getting wet!
Cayden-boy kept staring at the water sprinkles.. he cant wait to get wet!
Whenever its a get wet session, mama is always the photographer!
Full view of the playground
Holding on to Cayden-boy as the steps were to high for him
Cayden-boy trying to catch some water
Splash! Splash!
Cayden-boy playing with the water
Cayden-boy attempts to climb out of the drain!
Cayden-boy refuses to call it a day and wanted more!
Mama plays her usual tricks to calm Cayden-boy down
Cayden-boy doesn't like water getting into his eyes. He prefers the water "drains" to the water sprinkles from the playground.  As a result, it's me who ends up getting tired instead!
